Mauger Heavy Equipment is a 100% Kiwi Owned heavy diesel mechanical repairs company focused on quality support and specializing in the mining, civil and construction industries.
We provide heavy equipment repair services. Planned and emergency servicing and maintenance, as well as field service support for a variety of makes and models of heavy diesel machinery.

Armed with six years in the agriculture sector and a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture from Lincoln University, George saw an opportunity to provide a quality service like no other.
Gifted with an eye for new opportunities, his good nature allows him to build strong relationships with customers.
Inspired by the encouragement of friends and family, George’s favourite part of his job is building business and relationships that last.

Thomas Mauger – Director & Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Working for a New Zealand Cat dealership was a peak moment in Thomas’s career. From humble beginnings tinkering as a kid, then working overseas, Thomas went on to win Gough Cat Apprentice Of The Year 2014.
Inspired by his grandfather’s ability as a mechanic and businessman, Thomas is driven to success by seeing a satisfied customer after completing a job well done.
Thomas’s best work lies within field maintenance, diagnostics and component repair/rebuilds.
